From the movie side I love this independent cinema so that would be 5 stars actually. But from the bar/cafe bar side it's brought down to a 3. There is no queuing system in the cafe bar which is fine and that means bar staff should take note of who is next in line to be served. Being an ex barmaid in a busier establishment than the Filmhouse tonight and chatting to someone else in the queue who ran his own bar we know this is doable and not actually difficult. Unfortunately it was a fail. Staff were pleasant enough when you were served. I would put this down to lack of training. If offering a service then do it right especially when most of your patrons are on a timed schedule to catch a film
A brilliant viewing experience! They show a range of art house films, classics and foreign movies. It is a great place to see things which you otherwise might not go to see! The staff are friendly and pleasant, and everything is reasonably priced. Only 1 negative... no pop corn!!! :o but that does mean a really, really clean cinema, and nobody crunching mid movie.

The staff are kind and friendly. The cinema is spotlessly clean. Prices are reasonable even for a city centre. The picture quality is truly magnificent and the sound is amazing. You can really hear things coming from behind you. It's a really good day out.
The £5.99 prices are great and the staff are lovely and the ice-cream stand is great. A good choice if film's and great prices. Well worth a visit particularly if you are in the area

Not cheap but not many cinemas are these days. Having said that the Mini Movies / Movies for Juniors thing is quite good value for money. Fairly new decor, good quality sound and screens, plenty of choice. Lots to do nearby too and lots of places to eat.
I love Cineworld, I think they’ve got it pretty well sorted with the tickets/snacks/ice cream/coffee setup. I was so excited to go and see Jurassic World 2 for my first visit to the 3D 4X screen thing, and like any other cinema visit I got myself set up with my chosen snacks and beverages. As we approached the ticket check point the guys working there told me I couldn’t have my coffee when the movie started, but it was fine during the ads. This was fine as ads can take around 20 minutes so I’d be done by then. This was not the story as we got to the screen, which is okay I understand why. But the interaction to communicate this with the staff member there was super unprofessional, as was the inconsistency in information, combined these points really ruined my cinema visit as we had to sit outside the screen to finish a £4 coffee, which I ended up throwing away. As much as the enhancements on this type of screen was great, I don’t think I’d return.

The Kings theatre , Is a very good location for an entertaiment venue. There are lots of good places to eat , at varied prices great variety of shops .and accessible to public transport and near to train station. The theatre itself is very easy to enter , and is also suitable for disabled people and elderly. There are toilets on every level and seating is very comfortable, with a great view of the stage .
Excellent acoustics, but the whole theatre is very warm. Almost too warm. It's also a bit of a maze trying to find one's way around. Having said that, the place is well sign posted with lots of staff on hand to offer help. We shall return.

Love this theatre. It always has a personal and friendly atmosphere. My husband and I went to see The Last Ship and we had a brilliant night. The cast, the staging and the musical were excellent. Never seen a bad show there yet.
I come very often to the theatre as they have some really nice shows and concerts that I truly enjoy going to. The staff is very friendly and keen to help and the theatre inside is beautiful and you can take really nice pictures and selfies! They have two bars in defence laws where you can enjoy a glass of wine and many other different drinks, including coffee! There is a restaurant in the ground floor in which you can definitely have dinner before your show :-) enjoy!

The staff at this Starbucks are the friendliest and most welcoming of any local branch. They look after their customers extremely well. The branch is also in a very convenient location indeed, being just a quarter of a mile from Princes Street and passed by many bus routes from all over the city.
Brilliant venue. Nice cafe/bar/restaurant. Gender neutral toilets. Accessible.
